Objective of the Position
To ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of the equipment, machinery, and infrastructure within area of his/her responsibility. Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production equipment. To achieve optimal results by realizing a stable maintanance process and maximizing equipment availability, improve production efficiency, and ensure the safety and reliability of manufacturing processes.
Play a crucial role in supporting the production process, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues to restore operations quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, analyze data, and provide recommendations to optimize maintenance strategies and resource allocation.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement activities to ensure the availability of necessary parts, tools, and resources.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to the maintenance team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the implementation of new equipment, process upgrades, and facility expansions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques, including vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead maintenance initiatives.
- Knowledge and experience with Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement management systems & tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point)
- Fluent English both in writing and speaking.
- TPM and Aotunomous Maintanace knowledge is a plus.
