As well as engineering innovative solutions to protect our customers’ cargo, our global teams continuously train and maintain accreditations to ensure we are equipped to provide our customers with the highest level of support and advice to address challenges in load securing and cargo protection for rail, road or sea transportation, and to help customers to navigate the complex and varied rules and regulations across different global markets.
Cordstrap is also committed to driving high standards in cargo securing through comprehensive training programs provided both face to face and remotely online to help customers to ensure proper and consistent application across all teams and sites.

Accredited Trainer & Advisor Cargo Securing acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012
Christian Gottwald, Frank Groenewald and Thomas Höfer from our team in Germany passed exams to become an Accredited Trainer & Advisor for Cargo Securing according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 supervised and confirmed by SVG Euro-Zert GmbH. Certified 17024:2012 experts must continuously expand and update their specialist knowledge so our customers can have confidence in our experts, knowing their knowledge and practical experience is up to date.
AAR Advisory Board Appointments
Brett Calamari, our Sales Director, North America was voted in by the AAR’s Advisory Board in Washington DC. The appointment will give Cordstrap further insight to help us to continue innovating in product development to help solve issues occurring in closed car loading.
Brett joins Scott Loudon, Cordstrap’s Rail Director who is an AAR Associate Member to the Open Top and Closed Car Committees plus he sits on the AAR Intermodal Committee. He is also a member of the AIST (Association for Iron and Steel Technologies).
